Your team, roles and who gets new leads

On a team, everyone who takes bookings gets their own login and their own leads, instead of one password and a guess about who answered. Team appears in the portal once your plan has more than one seat: Pro with an extra seat, or Studio.

The four roles

• Owner: everything, plus billing and the plan. One per business; it moves only if the business does.
• Manager: every lead in the business, can hand leads out, and can edit your page and calendar. Sees Billing and Reports, but can't change the plan.
• Coordinator: only the leads assigned to them, plus anything nobody has picked up yet. Can't change your page.
• Day-of staff: only the weddings they're put on, once booked: the run sheet, the floor plan and who else is working it. No leads, no messages, no money. Their portal has just Today and Team.

New leads go to

Under Team, New leads go to, an owner or manager picks one rule. It applies to couples who inquire in the app, from your website, by email or by booking a tour.

• The pool: anyone on the team can pick it up. Nothing is anyone's until someone takes it. This is the default.
• The owner: every new lead lands on the owner's desk.
• One person: pick them from the list, for example the events manager who takes every first call.
• Round-robin: each new lead goes to the next person, in turn. The turn goes round everyone who has joined, except day-of staff.

It saves as soon as you choose. Leads someone adds by hand stay with whoever added them, whatever the rule.

Picking up and handing out

On every lead, Looking after this shows who has it. Coordinators choose I'll take it on a lead in the pool; owners and managers pick anyone from the list. See Who looks after a lead.

On a booked wedding

Under Working this wedding, add the people who'll be there on the day, with their position, such as Lead bartender, and their call time. They see the run sheet, and day-of staff see only the weddings they're on. See Run sheet and day sheet.

Good to know

• Each person's Today page shows their own couples and weddings. See Your Today page.
• When someone leaves, their open leads go to a colleague or back to the pool. See Remove someone from your team.
• Rules are enforced by The Veil itself, not only by what the screen shows. A coordinator can't open a lead that isn't theirs or in the pool.
