And if you are smaller than every number on this page.
Six weddings a year, on weekends, alongside a job. A listing with a floor of $600 and a twelve-month contract is not a decision you were weighing and declined β it is more than the work is worth, so the category simply has no product for you. That is most of why the good local vendors are missing from it.
There is no floor here, and nothing to decline. Claim the storefront, take the enquiries, answer them, send a contract and get paid β for nothing. We take 3% the day a booking is paid through the platform, and nothing at all in a year where none is. One wedding or forty, the arithmetic never stops working.
And you are never charged for a lead that goes nowhere.
Directory leads run $50β200 each, whether or not the couple ever replies β and the same enquiry is sold to several of your competitors at once, which is why speed of reply decides the booking. Here, the couple reaches you and nobody else, and we take 3% only when a booking is actually paid through the platform. Paid directly? We take nothing.
No contract, either.
Listings in this category are commonly sold on twelve-month terms, with renewal increases vendors say they did not see coming. Pro, annual is $500 a year β $42 a month β or $50 monthly, cancel whenever. Below roughly $16,700 of bookings a year, stay on Free; we would rather say so than sell you the upgrade.
Listing prices are not published by the companies that charge them; the figures above are what vendors report paying, compiled from 2026 industry breakdowns and current as of August 2026. Software prices are each companyβs own published rates. We would rather show our working than ask you to take the comparison on trust.
The whole toolkit
Everything you get, and what it costs.
Directories charge you to be listed and then sell the same couple to your competitors. We charge nothing to list, and only take a cut when you actually get paid. Anything still in build is marked Soonβ nothing on this page is a promise we havenβt already shipped.
What it costs
No listing fee, no lead fee, no contract.
- Free to list
- Claim your business, build a full storefront and take enquiries without paying anything. There is no paywall between a couple and your inbox.
- 3% only when you get paid
- On the free plan we take 3% of a booking paid through the platform. If the couple pays you directly, we take nothing. You are never charged for a lead that goes nowhere.
- Pro at $500/year β 0%
- No booking fee at all, plus the Verified badge and priority placement in your categories. Two months free against $50/month, which is also available. It pays for itself once you route about $16,700 a year through the platform β below that, stay on Free.
- We never resell your leads
- The couple who enquires with you is not simultaneously sold to four of your competitors. That is the entire business model of the directories, and it is not ours.
Getting found
- Claim your listing
- Search for your business, prove the domain is yours, and the storefront is live. Claiming takes a few minutes and nothing is published until you say so.
- Listed under everything you do
- A venue that also caters appears under both β not buried in whichever category someone guessed first.
- Portfolio & storefront
- Photos, categories, service radius, starting price and the details couples filter on, on a page that looks like a business rather than a form.
- Availability couples see first
- Block the dates you're booked. Couples see them before they enquire, so you stop declining requests for days you were never free.
- Verified badgePro
- A visible mark on your storefront and in results.
- Priority placementPro
- Pro storefronts sort above free ones in their categories, ahead of the general ranking β so the couples browsing your category see you first.
- Reviews only a paying couple can leaveSoon
- A review tied to a booking actually paid through the platform, so it cannot be bought, farmed, or left by someone who never hired you. Your Google reviews still show β these sit beside them and mean something different.
- Deeper storefront, and a page search can findSoon
- More room to show the work, on a public storefront built to rank for what couples in your area actually type.
Winning the work
- Enquiries that arrive qualified
- Budget band, guest count, date, venue and the couple's aesthetic come attached. You know before you reply whether it's a fit.
- One thread per couple
- Chat, photos and documents in one place, on the web portal or your phone β not a mail folder plus two text chains.
- Saved reply templates
- Your standard answers, one tap away. Response time is tracked, and couples overwhelmingly book whoever answers first.
- A badge for answering fastSoon
- The response time already being tracked, turned into something couples can see β so being the one who replies first counts on your storefront too.
- Invoices & deposits
- Send an invoice from a saved preset inside the thread. The couple pays by card and it lands in your Stripe account.
- Booking confirmation
- Mark a lead booked and the date blocks on your calendar automatically, so it stops appearing as available β and you appear on the couple's vendor list, where their payments and paperwork for you live.
- Deposit, balance, and everything between
- Set the real payment plan once β deposit to hold the date, balance on the day. The couple sees what's coming in their own budget instead of asking you for a reminder.
- Contracts signed in the app
- Send the agreement, the couple signs it with a finger, and you get the signed record with the date, their device, and a hash of the exact file β so a swapped document is provable rather than invisible. No more filing a photo of a piece of paper.
- Choose when payments go outPro
- Send each instalment yourself, let them release on their due date, or make the whole plan payable straight away. Free accounts send manually β the mode that can never surprise a couple with a charge.
- Proposals, not just invoicesSoon
- Send packages a couple can compare and accept, with the invoice and payment plan built from whichever one they pick.
- The shared run sheetSoon
- Once a couple books you, a live read-only view of their wedding day: your arrival and setup window, ceremony and reception times, the venue address, the coordinator's name and number, and today's guest count. It updates when they change it, and you are told when it does β no PDF, no group text, no 11pm email asking what time you arrive.
Being seen
- Post into the couples' feed
- Your real work appears in the same feed couples browse for ideas β with a link straight from the post to your bookable page.
- A social profile that sells
- Followers, comments and a profile that carries a button through to your services and availability.
- Profile view counts
- See how many couples looked, so you know whether the problem is reach or the page.
Running the business
- Lead pipeline
- Every enquiry from new to booked or archived, with the whole history attached.
- Notifications you control
- Email and push per event type β a new enquiry can ring, a follow-up can wait until you sit down.
- Stripe payouts
- Connect your account once. Money moves from the couple to you; we are not the middleman holding it.
- Your team, each on their own leadsSoon
- A venue is not one person. The owner, the booking manager and the day-of coordinator each get their own login and their own pipeline, instead of a single shared password and a guess about who is answering which couple. Built for venues and any business where more than one person needs to see a booking β it will sit on a plan of its own rather than being folded into Pro.
- Works on your phone
- The full portal in a browser, and your chat and profile inside The Veil app itself.
- Calendar sync & travel buffersSoon
- Two-way sync with the calendar you already keep.
- AI reply draftsSoon
- A first draft of your reply, in your voice, from the enquiry.
Straight answers
The questions worth asking first.
Including the one where we talk you out of the paid plan.
- What does it cost to be listed?
- Nothing, permanently. No listing fee, no lead fee, no contract and no minimum. You can claim your business, build a full storefront and take enquiries without paying anything β there is no paywall between a couple and your inbox.
- So how do you make money from a free vendor?
- We take 3% of a booking that is paid through the platform. If the couple pays you directly, we take nothing. You are never charged for a lead that goes nowhere, which is the opposite of paying up front for enquiries that may never reply.
- Do you resell my leads to my competitors?
- No. A couple who enquires with you is not simultaneously sold to four other businesses in your category. That practice is the entire revenue model of the directories, and declining to copy it is most of why this exists.
- Is Pro worth $500 a year?
- Only above a certain volume, and we would rather do that arithmetic for you than sell you the upgrade. Pro removes the 3% booking fee, so it pays for itself once you route roughly $16,700 a year through the platform on the annual plan, or $20,000 on the monthly one. Below that, stay on Free.
- What does Pro actually unlock?
- Four things, and we will not pad the list: no booking fee, the Verified badge on your storefront and in results, priority placement above free storefronts in your categories, and the choice to let scheduled instalments release automatically instead of sending each one yourself. Everything else in the portal ships to free accounts.
- Who holds the money?
- You do. Payments run through Stripe from the couple to your own connected account β we are not a middleman sitting on your deposits, and there is no payout schedule of ours for you to wait on.
