What your vendors can see

You decide what your vendors see. Here's exactly what reaches them, and when.

When you inquire

A vendor you ask about your date sees:

• Your names and your wedding date.
• The Guest count range and Budget for this range you picked, never your real totals.
• Your Wedding Vibe's style and setting, if you've set them (shown to you on the form as Your aesthetic (shared)).
• Your answers to the category questions and the vendor's own questions, and your message.

They don't see your total budget, your other vendors, what anyone else charges, your guest list or anyone's contact details.

Once you've booked and paid

Everything below needs a booking paid through The Veil, and most of it is off until you turn it on.

• Timeline: only the moments you mark to share with your vendors. The timeline names who will see them.
• Floor plan: when you choose to share it, your vendors see the room, the tables and how many seats are taken, never names.
• Music: your DJ sees your lists and requests when you share them, never who asked for what.
• Your final guest list: once you lock the list, your caterer and venue see names, tables and dietary needs, so they can plate and seat people.
• For your vendors (on the Guest Roster): addresses for your stationer, where guests are staying for your transport company, the wedding party's names and pronunciations for your DJ, and the ceremony for your officiant. Each is its own switch. See Share guest details with your vendors.
• Family photos: your list of group photos, for your photographer or videographer, when you turn on Share with your photographer.
• Photos from your guests: the photographer booked on your wedding sees the photos guests add, unless you turn that off.
• Plan with your planner: a planner you booked can see the parts you tick (guest list, budget, timeline), and change RSVPs and the timeline only if you allow it.
• Let my vendors see each other: your vendors see who else is booked and when they arrive, and share one thread with you. Never your contact details or what anyone costs.

What vendors never see

• Your budget, other vendors' prices or your private notes.
• Your guests' phone numbers and emails.
• Your conversations with other vendors.
• Who requested which song.

Good to know

• A vendor's team members see what the vendor sees, for the work they do on your wedding.
• If you cancel or get a refund, sharing tied to that booking ends.
• Your co-planners are a separate question: they see only the parts you give them. See Co-planners and your day-of coordinator.
