Printed invitations and mailing addresses

If you're mailing paper invitations, The Veil can hold every address for you and share the list with your stationer, so nobody retypes a spreadsheet.

Add addresses

There are three ways an address gets onto a party:

• You type it into Mailing Address (for envelopes) when you add or edit a party. See Add guests and their parties.
• The guest adds it themselves from their invitation page.
• You fix one later by editing the party.

See how many you have

Open Guests, then Save-the-dates & invitations, and scroll to PRINTED INVITATIONS. It tells you how many invitations have a mailing address, for example 3 of 72 have a mailing address. The same count appears in For your vendors under ADDRESSES.

Send the list to your stationer

1. Tap Send the address list to your stationer.
2. We tell you how many invitations have an address. If you've booked a stationer on The Veil, they're notified that your list is ready, and it appears on your wedding in their workspace.
3. If you haven't booked a stationer on The Veil yet, you'll see a note saying they'll see it once you book one.

After you've shared it once, the button reads Tell your stationer again. Use it when more addresses have come in.

Share addresses from For your vendors

For your vendors on the Guest Roster has a switch for the same thing: Share with your stationer, with names and addresses ready for envelopes. It's off until you turn it on. Just below it, Share your seating with your stationer sends who sits at each table, for place cards and the seating chart at the door. That one follows your seating as you change it. Who can see the addresses

Only a stationer you've booked and paid on The Veil. Other vendors, and other guests, never see anyone's address.

Good to know

• Only the primary guest of each party needs an address. Plus-ones share it.
• People waiting in a join request aren't counted until you add them.
