Invite guests to the rehearsal dinner

Most guests are invited to the wedding itself. A smaller group, usually the wedding party and close family, is also invited to the rehearsal dinner. The Guest Roster keeps track of both, so you can give the restaurant a rehearsal headcount without a second spreadsheet.

Choose the events for a party

1. Tap + to add a party, or tap ... on a row and choose Edit Party Details.
2. Under Invited To, tap Main Wedding, Rehearsal, or both. A filled circle means they're invited.
3. Tap Generate Invite Row or Save Changes.

A new party starts with Main Wedding on and Rehearsal off. If you switch both off, the form says this guest isn't invited to either event yet. You can still save it, for example while you decide.

See each list

At the top of the roster, the first filter chips are events:

• Rehearsal shows only parties invited to the rehearsal.
• Main Wedding shows only parties invited to the main wedding.

The group chips (Family, Friends and so on) come after them. If nobody is invited to an event yet, the list says so, for example Nobody invited to the rehearsal yet.

Badges on the roster

Only the rehearsal gets a badge, because nearly everyone is invited to the main wedding:

• REHEARSAL: invited to both.
• REHEARSAL ONLY: invited to the rehearsal and not the main wedding. This is useful for an officiant or a family friend who helps at the rehearsal.

What guests see

A party's invitation shows the events they're invited to. Guests invited only to the main wedding never see rehearsal details.

Good to know

• The head counts at the top of the roster count everyone on the list, whichever events they're invited to. Use the Rehearsal filter when you need the rehearsal number.
• When you review someone who asked to join through your wedding link, you choose their events on the same form. See Review join requests.
