Offer the dates you're still trying to fill

A Saturday nobody booked is worth nothing the day after. Dates you're still trying to fill, on Availability, lets you say what you'd take for a date that's still open.

Who hears about it

Your offer shows on your public page under Still open. And the couples who already enquired with you about that exact date, and didn't book, are told. Nobody else. The Veil doesn't message strangers on your behalf.

Make an offer

1. Open Availability and scroll to Dates you're still trying to fill.
2. Pick the date.
3. Under What's the offer?, write it in your own words, up to 200 characters. For example "20% off, no travel fee" or "The Hayloft at our Friday rate".
4. Tap Offer it.

Each offer is listed with its date and wording. Until the couples who asked have been told, it says they'll be told tonight; afterwards, couples who asked about this date have been told.

Tap Withdraw next to it.

When an offer stops on its own

• It stops showing a fortnight before the date. Your list marks it Not showing.
• It disappears if you block that day or get booked for it.

What you can't offer

• A date you've blocked on the calendar above. Unblock it first.
• A day you're already booked.
• A date in the past.

Writing a good offer

• Say what's different, plainly: a price, a room, something included. "The Hayloft at our Friday rate" is clearer than "special pricing".
• Keep conditions short. Anything you'd need to explain, explain when they write to you.
• Offer dates far enough out to plan a wedding for, and withdraw them when you'd rather keep the day.

Good to know

• Only owners and managers can offer or withdraw dates.
• The offer is yours. The Veil doesn't price it or apply a discount: you quote and invoice whatever you agree with the couple.
• On your page the section says the offer is from you and asks couples to confirm the details when they enquire.
