The Veil Plus: what's free and what Plus adds

You can plan your entire wedding on The Veil without paying. The Veil Plus is for couples who want extra hands, polished exports, AI help beyond the basics and the wedding-day tools. This page lists exactly what's in each plan.

Free, forever (The Veil Basic)

The free plan has no card, no trial and no end date. It includes:

• Your checklist (including the AI checklist), budget, timeline, notes, Wedding Vibe and Content Hub.
• Your guest list, RSVPs, invitations by email, your wedding link and the live Guest Passport.
• Your partner, with the whole wedding and the same access as you. See Invite your partner.
• Drawing your floor plan, seating everyone and one layout of your own.
• Guest song requests, music lists for every moment, sharing with your DJ, and one run of the AI DJ.
• The registry and cash funds, paid to your bank, with a 1.5% platform fee on cash gifts.
• Finding vendors, messaging them, contracts and payments.
• One wedding.

What Plus adds

• A Day-of Coordinator and day-of mode. Hand the day to someone you trust. Their changes go straight in, they get emergency contacts and the issue log, and while day-of mode is on they can approve timeline and seating requests for you. See The wedding day.
• Co-planners. Invite as many helpers as you like and choose which parts of the wedding each one can open. Your partner doesn't count; they're free.
• Floor-plan exports and more layouts. A picture of your plan, the caterer's seating spreadsheet with dietary needs, and more than one layout of your own, such as a rain plan.
• More AI DJ runs after your free one, and your playlists exported to Spotify.
• The DIY workbench, the whole thing. See The DIY workbench.
• Up to five versions of your wedding, side by side. See Plan more than one version of your wedding.
• 0% platform fee on cash gifts instead of 1.5%.
• What couples near you paid, shown on every budget category. See Is our budget split normal?
• A bigger shared photo gallery. Up to 100 photos per guest and 5,000 per wedding (24 and 750 on the free plan), 15-second video clips, and your gallery kept for three years after the wedding instead of 12 months. See Guest photos and your gallery.
• Faster help. We aim to answer Plus requests the same business day, and free requests by the end of the next business day. Anything about the wedding day within 48 hours of it is treated as urgent for everyone.

How you'll know something is Plus

• A Plus tile on Home shows a lock, like DIY & Decor on the free plan.
• Tapping a Plus feature opens Unlock followed by the feature's name, with View Premium Plans. Close it with the X if you're not ready.
• In Budget, a card called Is this a normal split? explains what Plus adds there.
• In Settings, the day-of mode switches look faded, with Upgrade to Plus to hand the day to your coordinator underneath.

Your partner and helpers share your plan

Plus belongs to your wedding, not just your login. While your partner is linked to your wedding they have Plus too, and your co-planners and coordinator use the Plus parts you've opened to them. If a helper taps something only Plus can unlock and you don't have Plus, they see Premium Access Locked, saying the host needs to upgrade.

Good to know

• If you stop paying, nothing you made is deleted. The Plus parts lock again, and everything free keeps working.
• The whole-wedding plan lasts until 60 days after your wedding, so thank-you cards, photo delivery and the registry are covered.
• A gallery made while you had Plus keeps its Plus limits even after Plus ends.
