The officiant's ceremony kit

Officiants get two sections on a booked lead: The ceremony, in the couple's own words, and Your ceremony kit, with the script and the marriage license.

The ceremony

Once the couple shares it from For your vendors in their app:

• how their names are said,
• the ceremony style and roughly how long, who walks them in, readings, rituals, and anyone being remembered,
• which state their license is from,
• Notes for you, and each of their vows.

Planners see this section too.

Draft the script

1. Under Your ceremony kit, tap Draft from their answers.
2. A script appears: their names and how to say them, the style and length, the processional in order with pronunciations, who walks in, then a welcome and the rest of the ceremony, with their readings, rituals and vows in place. Gaps the couple hasn't answered are marked for you to fill.
3. Edit it as you like, up to 30,000 characters.
4. Tap Save the script. Download saves it as a text file.

Redraft from their answers replaces what's written with a fresh draft, after asking (Replace it or Keep mine).

The marriage license

Marriage license says when it has to be back with the county.

• Enter Return within ... days of the ceremony (1 to 120). When the couple's license state is known, the usual number of days for that state is suggested, with a reminder that counties differ, so check with the clerk who issued it.
• The due date then shows: "Back to the county by ...".
• Mark returned when it's done. Undo if you tapped it early.

Good to know

• Coordinators and above can edit the script and the license.
• If the couple isn't on The Veil, you can still draft and save a script; it starts from their names and marks everything else to fill in.
• Your introductions list is under The music plan.
