What guests see on your registry

On their invitation page

When your registry is visible, guests' invitation pages on the web show a Registry section with your note, your gifts (each linking to its store) and your cash funds.

In their passport

In The Veil app, guests open Gift Registry from their passport:

• Your note, under A note from the couple.
• Cash Funds, with progress toward each goal (and dollar amounts, if you show them), and Contribute.
• Your gifts, each marked Available, Fully Gifted, or how many are still needed, with View Item and Mark as Purchased.

If the registry is off, they see that it isn't open yet.

When a guest contributes

1. They tap Contribute, enter an amount, add an optional thank-you message and can choose Give anonymously.
2. With Stripe connected, they tap the button to pay securely by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The money goes to your bank, and the contribution is Verified via Stripe in your ledger.
3. Or, under Or send another way, they send it by one of your payment links and tap I've sent it. That's marked self-reported.

If you haven't connected Stripe or added any payment links, guests are told there's no way to send money through The Veil yet.

When a guest buys a gift

They buy it from the store, then tap Mark as Purchased, choose how many and add an optional message. The gift updates on your Track Gifts list so nobody buys it twice.

What you're told

An in-app alert for each gift and contribution, if you've left those notifications on. A guest who gives anonymously appears as Anonymous.
