What the app adds for guests

Everything you need to reply is on your invitation page. If you'd like more, open your guest passport in The Veil app.

Open your passport

On your invitation page, under Your guest passport, tap Get your guest passport. On a phone it opens The Veil if you have it, or takes you to the App Store or Google Play (the app is free). Prefer not to install? Tap Or open the passport in this browser: everything works there except notifications and the map.

On a computer, the button is Open your guest passport.

Once your invitation is opened in The Veil, it belongs to that account. Your reply moves there too, and the invitation page says It's in your passport.

What the passport adds

• Changes, the moment they happen: a notification when the ceremony moves or the shuttle is late.
• Your table and the map: your Seating Assignment once the couple releases seating (until then it says Pending Release), with View Map to see the room.
• Where to stay: The couple's picks with Book Room, Hotels nearby, and I booked this to put your hotel on your map. Staying somewhere else? Add where you're staying.
• Location & Venues, with directions to every place the day happens.
• Request a Song: search for songs and send up to five requests for the dance floor, or ask the vibe assistant for ideas. If the couple has closed requests, the tile says so.
• On the day: who to call if you need help. See On the wedding day.

The passport also has your RSVP (Update RSVP), Approved Party Size with Edit Names, Dietary Needs & Allergies, the couple's Need to Know notes, the Event Itinerary, Dress Code, Registry and Our Story.

Good to know

• Your passport and your invitation page show the same wedding. Use whichever you like.
• If you're helping the couple as a co-planner or coordinator, your passport is also where you'll find your tools.
